Geraldton Grain Facility — Cladding & Structural Upgrade

Project Overview

FMR delivered cladding and structural upgrades to the Overhead Cell Galleries and Access Galleries at a major grain facility in Geraldton. The works were undertaken approximately 60 metres above ground level in frequently wet and windy conditions, resulting in intermittent shutdowns due to safety constraints.

Through careful planning and disciplined execution, all challenges were successfully managed, resulting in an excellent final outcome. The project demanded rigorous attention to safety protocols given the extreme height and unpredictable coastal weather, with FMR's experienced team adapting work schedules around weather windows to maintain both safety and progress.
